M Victors (a blog about Michigan athletics) had this and other photos of the 1950 "Transcontinental" Michigan Marching Band. A trip to New York City and performance in Yankee Stadium was the East Coast part of the "transcontinental". So, let's go! BAND! TAKE THE BASEBALL FIELD!
